President Trump on Sunday implored Republican senators to renew their fight against Obamacare and to abolish the chamber’s filibuster rule.

“Don’t give up Republican Senators, the World is watching: Repeal & Replace,” Trump tweeted at 7:37 a.m. EDT.

GOP efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act went down in flames early Friday, by a 51-49 vote. The Senate’s 48 Democrats and independents were joined by three Republicans to preserve Obamacare.

Moments after the crushing setback, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declared the fight against Obamacare over and told his colleagues that it was “time to move on.”

While that ACA repeal effort didn’t require a 60-vote super-majority, Trump in that same 7:37 a.m. Sunday tweet also called for, “and go to 51 votes (nuke option), get Cross State Lines & more.”

Twelve hours earlier, Trump went on a Twitter rant against China, complaining that Beijing hadn’t done enough to control neighbor North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.

“I am very disappointed in China. Our foolish past leaders have allowed them to make hundreds of billions a year in trade, yet … they do NOTHING for us with North Korea, just talk,” Trump wrote.“We will no longer allow this to continue. China could easily solve this problem!”
