Special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian interference in the election and any ties to the Trump administration, will meet on Wednesday with members of a Senate panel, according to a report on Tuesday.
Mueller will meet members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is conducting a separate investigation into Russian meddling, to ensure there is no conflict between the probes, the Associated Press reported.
Mueller, a former FBI director, will meet with Sen. Chuck Grassley, the Republican chair of the committee, and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the panel.
He’ll also meet with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI).
It’s unclear whether the meeting will be behind closed doors.
